We do daily exercise for health. It is known as physical exercise and there are many ways of exercise. The physical body is the composition of the five elements through the process of fivefold mutual combinations as discussed in detail in a book separately. The flesh, muscles, bones, nervous system, digestive part, etc. are some of the parts. Exercise causes good flow of the blood and the circulation in the nervous system and keeps the various parts healthy and strong.

PRANAYAMA

Pranayama is breathing exercise with a technique of Bhastrika and a philosophy. Breath is life and life is breathing. There are, in the body an aggregate of 72 millions of nerves, their branches, the veins and the arteries and there are about 1.25 billions of blood cells, through which the blood flows. Breathing exercise enlivens the life force in these blood cells and keeps the man healthier. We find the resplendent energy particles working with precision as per the Cosmic Law.

Prana or life force is the energy, which requires no further proof. The four physical forces as studied by the Modern Physics are coming out of this one force. The Electro-magnetic force, the strong interaction force, the weak interaction force and the force of gravity are coming under the grand unification. Physicists are dreaming of a super unified quantum theory, which will integrate the force of gravity also into this primal force.

This primal force, the prana works fivefold in the man under the names of prana, apana, samana, vyana and udana and they have got their counter parts working in the Universe. Even though we speak of this pranic energy as inside the body and outside, in fact, it is one.

This life force is the breath of the Universe, working as an inner thread or the Cosmic Principle holding together all the worlds with all the beings and becomings therein. For better understanding, when the body is dissociated from the prana in a dead person all the various parts of the body and the entire system ceases to function with their features and become a mass of inert matter. Same is the case with the outside world with infinite galaxies, planets, etc., if there is no prana in the Universe.

This prana is invisible, all pervasive, and eternal and ever fresh, which requires no evidence for our acceptance. This is the holy spirit as mentioned in the Bible and this is the God's breathing from which Allah breaths life into man as per Qu'ran.

This life force is formless and is the conscious force, conscious light, chetana, chithanya, chit and chit shakti, etc. called with different names in various texts for the purpose of communicating the knowledge. This is the life force experienciable as divine aura round the head and the heart in course of intense Yoga.

The Self, the Soul, the Qud.

What is the source of this prana is the final question. Bible says, it is the Soul and the same Soul is called with qualifications as the Supreme Soul, the Universal Soul, the individual Soul, the ego Soul and every formful being and becoming survives under the support of this Soul. It is the Qud as mentioned in the Qu'ran, which is infinite, all pervasive, ever fresh and which is beyond the word. Same Qud coming down a step below is named as Quda, Allah, the Lord for the purpose of communication. This personified Lord is accredited with all powers of reward and punishment.

The Vedas say, the source of prana is the Aatma, the Self or the Supreme. The relation between the Self and the Spirit or the Aatma and prana are explained thus, this prana is borne from Aatma. The relation is that of a standing person and his own shadow, which follows him wherever he goes. The shadow depends on the man and finally it merges in the man. The shadow has no independent existence. The prana is present in our body and it helps to understand the Self by the above example. The conclusion is when we accept the shadow, we will have to accept its source, the man.

While the Self is hidden, invisible and the indwelling Ruler, the same Self is worded as Eswara, the Lord, or the Creator, conducting and guiding the world movement. Let us understand, how the Self is present eternally and uniformly in the Universe. The self is one, living within a thing, living separate and distinctly from that thing, remaining beyond the knowledge of that thing, remaining inside taking the thing as its body, living within that thing and conducting it to function according to the Cosmic Law is the Indwelling Principle, the inner Ruler, the Soul and this is immortal.

For full details, go through the discussions in the book of the Yogi.

SUMMING UP:

Can we now separate the Self from our daily experience? The Self and the spirit are fresh in our daily experience. It is all spread. It is formless and nameless and it is beyond the word of contradiction and quarrel. It supports all the opposites the God and the Satan, the Birth and the Death, the Heaven and the Hell, the Misery and Happiness. All the names and the forms of the various Gods, mentioned in the various scriptures of the religions point out this One indivisible Supreme Soul, which is the Soul of Souls, God of Gods and the Supreme support.
